Scope
This notice covers personal data of people who visit sefine.com.tr and people who use the contact form. Separate notices for employees, subcontractors and commercial contracts do not replace this page.
The notice is a general explanation for visitors. It is not a binding legal opinion on a particular dispute.
Personal data we process
The contact form may include your name, company, email address, phone number, vessel name or IMO number, and your message. Depending on what you write, you may send other information as well.

The form is not for health, religion, biometric or other special-category data. Do not send that kind of data.
Why we process it
We process personal data to receive and reply to requests for quotes, docking, ship repair, conversion, steel construction and other commercial enquiries, to route the message to the relevant department, to carry on the correspondence, and to meet legal obligations.
Career applications are routed to [email protected] and reviewed in the human resources process.
Legal basis
Data is processed on the grounds listed in Article 5 of the KVKK. Those grounds may include steps toward a contract or performance of a contract, a legal obligation of the controller, establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and legitimate interests.
Where explicit consent is required, the checkbox on the form records that consent. You may withdraw consent to the extent that withdrawal does not prevent processing that continues on another ground.
Sharing
Your request is sent to the relevant department: [email protected] for new building, [email protected] for ship repair, [email protected] for conversion, [email protected] for steel construction and other commercial correspondence, and [email protected] for careers.
Data may be shared with suppliers that provide hosting, email and information-system services, to the extent the work requires and in line with the KVKK. Information may be provided to competent public authorities when they request it under the applicable law.
Data is not sold to advertising or marketing lists.
How we collect it
Personal data is collected electronically when you complete the contact form, send an email, or otherwise write to us through the site.
How long we keep it
Data is kept for as long as the purpose requires and for the limitation and retention periods in the applicable law. When the purpose has ended and no statutory retention duty remains, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may ask whether your personal data is processed and, if it is, request information; learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used for that purpose; know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad; request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; request deletion or destruction where the Law allows; ask that correction and deletion be notified to third parties who received the data; object to a result against you that is produced solely by automated analysis; and claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

Applications are concluded under the KVKK and the related communiqués. If you consider the reply insufficient, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Board.
